Syrup pumps are the second lever and they are adjustable by request. A Grande takes four as standard; asking for two halves the added sugar without touching the coffee or the ice. Stores will also make any blended drink with a sugar free vanilla syrup, though the sauces used for mocha and caramel have no sugar free version.
Cloud Frappuccinos are the newest format and the one people ask about most. A layer of whipped cold foam sits over the blend rather than through it, which gives a lighter, meringue textured top third and a conventional Frappuccino underneath. They are also the most expensive drinks on the board, so the foam is what the extra buys.
A blended drink melts faster than any other format on the menu, which is worth knowing before ordering one to take away.
