The Starbucks hot drinks menu runs to 25 items priced from £2.75 to £6.75, covering espresso drinks, mochas, hot chocolate, matcha and a short tea list. Filter Coffee is the cheapest thing on it. A Caffè Latte is £4.60 for a Tall, a Cappuccino is £4.60 and a Caffè Americano £4.20.
The range runs from 4 calories in a cup of Earl Grey to 345 in a Venti White Chocolate Mocha, and almost all of that gap is milk and syrup rather than coffee. The espresso based drinks sit in the middle: a Grande latte is 151, a Cappuccino 130 and a Flat White 76. Black coffee barely registers, with an Americano at 11 calories and an Espresso at 7.
Caffeine does not track price or size in the way most people expect. Every milk drink built on two shots carries 89.1mg in a Tall and in a Grande alike, so sizing up buys milk rather than coffee. The Americano is the exception, and it climbs from 89.1mg in a Tall to 133.7mg in a Grande, because it is shots and water with nothing to dilute the count.

The counter expects size, then milk, then shots or syrup. "Grande latte, oat, extra shot" gives a barista everything in one line and saves the follow up questions. A named size matters more than most people realise: leave it out and you get a Grande, which is the single most common way of spending more than you meant to. The Short at 8oz is not printed on the board but every store makes it, and it is the cheapest way into a Caffè Latte, a Cappuccino or a Flat White.
The choice of milk changes both the taste and the numbers. Oat froths closest to dairy and adds a light sweetness of its own, soya sits near it, almond comes in lowest on calories and coconut lands between the two. Syrup adds around 20 calories a pump, and a Grande carries four pumps by default against three in a Tall, so a flavoured drink picks up calories twice over when you size it up. A Tall number of pumps in a bigger cup is a normal request. Bring a reusable cup and the discount applies across this whole list.

Why do some hot drinks show no price?
Five of the 25 are not sold by any Starbucks delivery partner: the Espresso, Espresso Macchiato, Latte Macchiato, Cortado and Chai Latte. Every price on this site comes from those partners, so rather than invent a figure the price is left off. All five are available at the counter and in the app.
Can you get any hot drink dairy free?
